“Not just a car; but a phenomenon”

The company is reportedly testing hard with bio-diesel derived out of the Jethropa crop, capable of providing a decent combustion power and efficiency. The Mercedes C class has been tested extensively on this propellant and has returned convincing results. At the same time, on another front, companies like Toyota, Renault, Honda are experiencing thrilling success with the well known hybrid technology (part battery, part fuel powered). Toyota’s Prius was the bellwether, winning the 2005 European Car of the Year award, apart from a similar award in the US, and being termed by the BBC as “not just a car; but a phenomenon.” And now, we have the Lexus Hybrid and Honda Civic Hybrid as being additional innovators in the technology efficiency race. Undoubtedly, the world of tomorrow will surely play the efficiency card to the auto hilt.
